The Upper Cumberland Mother's of Multiples

Congratulations on the birth or pending birth of your multiples! We're pleased to let you know that you are not alone. There is a support group for you.

Founded in 2002, the Upper Cumberland Mother's of Multiples consists of parents, parents-to-be and guardians of multiple children who meet for socialization, education, research purposes and support. The club offers informative meetings, family activities, parent's night out, and companionship for families with multiples.

The club meets the second Tuesday of every month at Poet's Coffee Shop (on the corner of Jefferson Ave. and Broad St.) at 8:00pm. Event planning and issues pertaining to raising multiples are discussed in the meeting, then we have social time and refreshments. A clothing swap box is available as well as a club library filled with informative literature pertaining to multiples.

We also have experienced club members who are available to answer questions and give support. Gain insight about the day-to-day needs of multiple birth families by networking with other parents of twins, triplets, etc. We are dedicated to sharing the unique joys and challenges associated with parenting multiples from pregnancy through school-age and beyond. We share with each other our life experiences and perspectives on the unique needs multiples bring to a family.

Make a connection with parents who share the special gift of multiples and understand what you're going through. We hope you'll join us at our next meeting or any function that you can attend. We would love to hear from you, and will enjoy meeting you.
